It's a packed flavored dish that I personally make whenever I'm going on a low-carb diet. This low-carb baked chicken breast recipe is healthy, juicy, and has no shortage of incredible flavor.

Chicken is the most popular meat in America, and chicken breast is the most common cut. Chicken breast can be hard to cook, oftentimes it comes out dry and stale. Not with this recipe though!

  • Skinless and boneless chicken breasts: This recipe is for 2 lbs of chicken breast. That usually is about three large breasts. You can easily double this recipe as well.

  • Avocado Oil: I enjoy the taste of avocado oil, but olive oil works fine as well.

  • Garlic Powder, Salt and pepper: Apply these at will to taste. You can also replace the garlic powder with clove garlic.

  • Italian Seasoning: I prefer Italian seasoning for this recipe, but basil or oregano also work.

  • Smoked Paprika: Make sure it smoked! there is a big difference.

Cooking Directions For Low Carb Baked Chicken Breast

  1. Pre-heat The Oven To 450 Degrees F: This typically takes 15 minutes.

  2. Season The Chicken: Place the chicken breast in a large cooking bowl. Pour in oil and seasoning and toss chick around until fully coated.

  3. Bake: Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. (uncovered)

  4. Serve: Let the chicken sit for up to 10 minutes before serving.
